Friends - I can't tell you how satisfying it is every time I get to this point in the process and get to write this update in one form or another...
We have shipped comics to everyone** who ordered physical copies AND completed their Backerkit Survey. The last batch of packages were dropped off at the post office this morning. When you get the book in hand, please don't be shy! Let us know here and on @thornycomics what you think!
Issue #2 Campaign will go live in the next 7-10 days. If you like the book, follow the campaign so you can take advantage of any early bird specials on issue two:

** The only supporters who do not yet have a book in hand or in the mail either did not fill out their survey OR they ordered the "Signed By Scott" add-on. These will take a little time to get to Scott, get back, and package up for you. We'll update you with a timeline as soon as we have one.
There are still about 9 of you who ordered physical copies and did not complete your BackerKit survey. Look for the reminder emails from BackerKit and let me know where to send your books please!

Friends - those of you that ordered DIGITAL COPIES of Volumes 1 or 2 of TALES FROM THE CLOAKROOM or CICADA SAMURAI 00 should have just received an email from BackerKit with links to those files.
Files for your physical copies of Tales AND The CloakRoom #1 are with the printer!
As soon as we have and start mailing out your books, we will distribute the digital copies of The CloakRoom #1.
And as soon as you start receiving those packages, WE WILL SET ISSUE #2 LIVE! Follow along here:

Friends - we're finalizing our print files in and putting in our order in the next few days. Should have books in my hands in about 2 weeks and then the real fun begins...
I just cycled through the BackerKit survey responses and want to remind you that a few of you (just a few, really) have not yet completed the survey. If you got all digital rewards, this is not the end of the world (although it is still SUPER helpful if you go and answer the 2 questions in there just so I can check you off my list...).
A few of you have already paid through Kickstarter for physical rewards, and I can't ship those to you unless you fill out a survey and tell me where to send your books.
So check your emails and your spam filters and get back to us... OH - and be on the lookout because we've already got issue 2 of The CloakRoom locked and loaded and ready to launch in May with more great stories about zombies, people who are turning into cartoons, mermaid murderers, and shades.
God I love comics....

Friends - Just dropping a reminder to please check your inboxes and spam folders for an email from BackerKit with your survey. If you ordered a physical copy of the book or any add-on, we need your shipping info! About 40 of you haven't done the survey yet.
If you are a digital only reward tier supporter, it would still be great if you could complete the survey. It will just be one question for you about whether you'd like to join the Thorny Comics mailing list. We won't spam you... promise! Just want to engage with comics fans and keep you updated on our future projects, like Cicada Samurai, The Grizzly Crew, and more issues of The CloakRoom.
Also - our second issue will have a pre-launch campaign up in a couple of weeks. So by the time you all receive your rewards in the mail, we'll be about ready to launch the next issue. We're going to stay on that schedule (an issue every 3 months) until people in Scott's writing workshop stop writing comics or until Scott tells us to stop!
Thanks again for your your support. We're really excited to share these stories with you, and think you'll be excited about the next two issues we've got planned as well!
